The NH Flying Tigers R/C Club now welcomes 'Park Flyer' members and their aircraft.

What is a 'Park Flyer"?

Definition of a Park Flyer from the AMA:
Park Flyer models will weigh two pounds or less and be incapable of reaching speeds greater than 60 mph. They must be electric or rubber powered, or of any similar quiet means of propulsion. Models should be remotely controlled or flown with a control line, remain within the pilot’s line of sight at all times, and always be flown safely by the operator.

If you are interested in having a safe and fun place to fly your model aircraft, consider joining the NH Flying Tigers. We have two great flying sites to allow you to fly your aircraft safely and we can also help you learn how to fly your aircraft.

Note that all NH Flying Tigers members are required to also be a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), if you want to limit your flying to using only Park Flyers, then you may want to consider the AMA's 'Park Flyer' class of membership instead of their more expensive standard 'open' class.  However, if you may want to progress to larger models at some time in the future, the NH Flying Tigers recommend that you start with a standard 'Open' class of AMA membership. For more information on the AMA's membership classes, please visit www.modelaircraft.org.parkflyer.aspx
