The New Hampshire Flying Tigers is a radio control model aircraft flying club. We pride ourselves as a club dedicated to helping out newcomers by answering all your questions, helping you to learn to fly safely, and guiding you along your way to becoming a good pilot. Did you know that radio control flying is a fun activity that family members can share together? Instead of simply watching your children from the sidelines, why not try getting involved in RC aviation were you can honestly interact with your children? We have many father/son, mother/son, father/daughter, grandfather/grandson and uncle/nephew teams in our membership. Join in the fun and be involved with your family. This could be more than just a wonderful activity to share with your children. Here is what noted aviation engineering pioneer Burt Rutan had to say about his personal view of model aviation when he received an award in January (as published in the August 2006 issue of Model Aviation):
If you are a beginner to this hobby you probably have many questions you need answered. We have an excellent and well established Flight Training Program with club certified instructors allowing you to learn to fly with fewer mishaps. This will keep your flying costs down, minimize your frustration and make the whole experience much more enjoyable. If you are an experienced pilot, we offer you a choice of two great flying sites with one of the finest maintained grass runways in the New England area. Our members are friendly, helpful and fun! Our members have varied interests from fixed wing to helicopters, scale (both large and small), sport, combat, gliders, pattern, and battery powered.
